Yes. All stainless steel sinks, no matter the brand or origin or material composition will show scratch marks over time. This is a natural part of the aging process, and overtime your stainless steel sink will develop a patina finish where the scratches blend in.

Yes. All our single and double bowl sinks have a 90mm waste hole which is compatible with most waste masters available in New Zealand.

No. We strongly recommend that you have the sink onsite before you make any benchtop cuts. Always follow the golden rule – measure twice and cut once. We also recommend that the benchtop raw edge is sealed so that it cannot absorb moisture.

No. Specialist installation is required for all undermount sinks. Your warranty will be voided if your sink is not installed by a professional.

For everyday cleaning we recommend that you rinse your sink after each use, with a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a soft nylon brush (if needed). Dry with a micro fibre cloth to prevent water build-up and water spotting. To deep clean your sink, we recommend that you use Chemico paste. For more information, please see our Care Guide.

Sinx by Totara stainless steel sinks are made from 304 18/10 stainless steel. Type 304 is a grade of stainless steel commonly used for food preparation. The 18 refers to the percentage of chromium and the 10 refers to the percentage of nickel that are present in the stainless steel used to manufacture the sink.

We recommend that you use our granite sink cleaner paste for a deep clean. To restore the surface of your sink after a deep clean, apply food grade mineral oil with a soft cloth, then buff off.
